Personal profile

My desire to help individuals and organisations grow has been at the core of my career. Fortunately my decision to leave full time executive roles in 1990 not only gave me the opportunity to continually indulge my thirst for knowledge, studying with many of the international leaders in the field; but also helped me dramatically broaden my experience of applying my knowledge and understanding in a wide variety of areas.

I work with a diverse range of people and organisations, including: owner/directors of SME's, directors / senior managers in larger public and private organisations, as well as with a charity providing coaching support to the carers of cancer sufferers.


Coaching style

My coaching style naturally varies according to the individual but has a common focus on helping the individual achieve the results that they desire. At times, it may involve creating a very safe space where individuals may explore their thoughts, their hopes and fears without necessarily knowing where that exploration may take them. At other times it may be helping the individual achieve clarity on what they really want and then to work with them defining their choices of action and the possible consequences of going down that particular route.

The most rewarding coaching sessions for both of us have been where the individual really wants to make a difference in their life, approaches each session with an open mind and enjoys a robust challenge to some of their historically limiting beliefs.

Personal chemistry does have an impact on the effectiveness of the coaching process, hence, the initial session is always without obligation. We use the time to explore what you want from coaching and some of the ways in which we might work together, both parties have to be confident that the coaching process will give real benefit before an agreement is drawn up and fees are charged.
